The TAN conferences, which were held for the first time in Seeheim near Darmstadt in 1999 (TAN 99), focus on the latest achievements and developments in the field of experiments and the theory of the chemistry and physics of transactinide elements.
The scientific program includes experimental and theoretical aspects of the synthesis of superheavy elements, nuclear reactions, nuclear structure, chemistry, atomic properties and related topics.
